[Wishing Star]

Pretty Cool

Good dynamic flow, cool beat, nice breaks . . . I really liked the beginning . . . I think this song works as it is, but I could see a classical version of this sounding amazing. I think if you were to have it all on piano (no rhythm), slower, and with some cool piano runs to make it connect, it would be ballin'. There is a lot of potential for the melody, and I think you could do a lot of different things with it.

You should really write more original songs, you're pretty clever with how you put together songs. I'd be interested what you think of some of my latest songs I put out here, if you get a chance.

This song is enhancing my delta brain waves, LOL. I'm getting kinda drowsy and euphoric.

Yeah, I originally had this as just pure, slow piano. But I couldn't for the life of me complete it! I had this loop stuck in my head so long, I just wanted to put it down on a track, and it kind of evolved into this. I may just revisit it; it seems to be getting a lot more attention than I thought it would.

Good motific development, especially rhythmically. I like how the main melody is only two notes, but with varied rhythmic placement. I think if you developed that more it would be awesome, especially in the second half of the song.

Great beat, pretty good rap

I love the music behind the rap. Maybe add something at the end where the beat loops until it ends. That's all I'd recommend.

Pretty cool

I think this is missing a synth maybe. It might add to a more complete sound. It might also help with the transitions, which are good, I just think more color could help any song. Everything else it good. Cool beat. Maybe, just maybe, we should do a collab if you're down. Problem is I can only work on music as of right now on tuesdays and wednesdays. I dunno, PM me if you have questions.

good. lol. Yeah, I guess I would say what most others are saying here, to expand on this, which apparently you already are. There was part in the guitar part I wasn't wild about at about 0:26 to 0:28, pretty minor, but if you like it, I'd say keep it in. That's all really. Cool man.

Not bad for a quick "throw together" song

I just saw the forum post and decided to check this out. I think it would be important to say that I haven't heard the original song, so my opinion may be off point at times. I think if you worked a little bit more on the drums and adding some more variety it could be much more enjoyable. It would probably be cool to hear some cool chords behind the melody also. I think it would be cool to have the chords kick in at 0:24 where the melody restarts, and maybe have a drum fill that leads into it. If that makes any sense to you. I'll check out some of your other stuff and see what else you got goin on.

I had fiddled with tryin to make a couple other drum sounds, but didn't catch anything that was really satisfactory so I let it be.

I was experimenting with some harmonies/supporting chords briefly, but then decided that putting together a convincing chord progression around a melody that was already written was outside the scope of this project.
